In time the company diversified, carrying other cargoes and servicing a far wider market.
In the process, SBT developed the specialized skills required for transporting a variety of dissimilar products and, also, the different trailer types and equipment used to carry them.

Although Slabbert Burger Transport had started as a small operation, with a handful of trucks, and has since grown to become one of southern Africa's largest and most respected privately owned transport companies, some things have not changed - SBT still maintains a strict code of business and moral ethics - and still offers its clients real value for money.

A unique feature of the company is that shareholders of Slabbert Burger Transport hold key positions within the company and are active in day to day operational issues.
Each one of the Directors has over twenty years of experience in the transport business.
